Urban Rituelle Lip Balm

By 13:02 , , , ,

This lip balm was featured in Cleo December issue. I was so attracted by the pretty packaging that I had to go get one to try out. I love trying out new lip balms!

"Urban Rituelle is an innovative brand of Australian made bath & body care products based in Sydney, Australia. Urban Rituelle is a range of innovative bath, body and beauty products. Made to celebrate life’s simpler pleasures, Urban Rituelle products are made to enhance and celebrate everyday rituals. The company sources the highest quality ingredients available and uses stylish contemporary packaging. By using vivid colours and exotic fragrances, it turns the everyday into a visual and aromatic experience. Urban Rituelle products are not tested on animals and are made in Australia." - Urban Rituelle

According to Urban Rituelle, their lip balm, "Soothes & hydrate lips. Enriched with natural Beeswax, Sweet Almond oil, Olive oil, Shea Butter and the added benefit of Vitamin E to keep lips soft & glossy. Also includes sunscreen for extra lip smackin’ protection. Each lip balm tin has a unique, funky design & is lightly tinted with delicious & juicy colours. Ideal for carrying in your pocket or purse." It comes in 18 different flavours & designs.

You can get Urban Rituelle lip balms from Sash at Pavilion. Though not all 18 are available. I saw Pomegranate, Cotton Candy, Ginger, Vanilla, Coconut, Mango, Peach Blossom & Tangerine. Sash doesn't carry a wide variety of Urban Rituelle products but they do have some of the favourites like vegetable soap, soy wax candles & petit perfume. It comes in a set so they make wonderful gifts.

Pomegranate Sweet Treats Lip Balm

Retail price :
RM32 for 20gm/0.7oz

Texture :
It slighty hard in the tin but it goes on smoothly. It's light & moisturising.

Colour :
Although the description on the Urban Rituelle site states that it's lightly tinted, the colour for Pomegranate does not show on the lips. Perhaps a deeper colour like Cherry would show.

Flavour :
I don't taste anything. Lol! But i'm fine with it.

Scent :
It has a light sweet scent close enough to being Pomegranate-ish. But it's not sickly sweet.

Packaging:
It may not be very hygienic because it involves dipping your finger into the tin but it's pretty! ;p
